This giant below was one of the keys to our win in 2006 Gold Cup Tarpon Tournament. Tarpon are a drug, and I’m certainly addicted. When they are here I can think of nothing else. As my wife says, “tarpon, tarpon, tarpon, it’s all you ever think about”. No doubt these spectacular fish get under your skin and “make a man stupid crazy”! I’m a junkie, no doubt. I love to fish in the back, in the Glades, but I also spend a lot of time on the ocean chasing the big strings. If you want prime tarpon dates you need to book early.
