Fishing for redfish in Everglades National Park this year has been as good as I have ever seen it. Our redfish population is extremely healthy and most anglers are enjoying fishing that is being described as off the charts. Lots of tailing schools with a good mix of bigger singles has yielded some very big days on both fly and artificial.

Fishing in the park for reds and snook is suppose to be fun and laid back. It’s a break from the drama and intensity associated with bonefish, permit, and tarpon. It is why I put pictures of my girls on this page - I love to do fun fishing trips with kids. I call them catching trips. Trout, jacks, ladyfish, and sharks are abundant and if you are interested in just flat out catching, let’s go do it. I get plenty of practice taking my girls fishing, and they can be demanding clients!
